T - 6 hours and counting to meet Ivor in Ocala. Hoping the front will move through Ocala by 8:00 A.M., tomorrow morning so that we'll have a clear shot to Dothan. If not, it is what it is. I can handle it. I just hope Cindy can.

After lunch in Jacksonville, we headed for GA. I like GA, but the damn state tried to drown us. Torrential rains as we headed into Valdosta. Wanted to make it to Tifton, but we gave up in Valdosta after finding a nice, new Best Western. The front over-hang was filled with bikes shortly after we pulled in. It was a very wet ride for the last hour of our day, but we stayed pretty dry, and thank God we were on our Spyder.
Y'all ride safe. The weather for south GA tomorrow morning calls for thunderstorms, so be careful.

Cindy & I got into Ocala around 7:00 P.M. We circled around a couple of thunder boomers getting here. The front is supposed to pass through here tonight or early morning. (I hope). We'll be heading out for Dothan in the morning.

Hey John, were you on Rt 301? We went through Ocala on 301, not I-75. Don't remember hearing a horn. Be sure to bring warm clothes. We're in Atlanta tonight and it's cold (at least by Tampa standards).
Have a safe trip.
(Sis just reminded me that we did hear your horn, didn't know it was meant for us :-)
