Too hot to handle
It's been a great winter but now it's time to pickle the Spyder and put her away for the summer. These 95 degree days are just too hot on the streets of Miami and I have fear that the flip flop on my right foot may melt or catch fire. It's now time for the Spyder Lovers up North to come out and play. See you next year. Enjoy your summer of spinning and grinning.
Bye y'all!

SpyderPops heat shield installation is the answer. 95 degree weather is normal for Flarda. Cindy is now making me wear sun screen though. Can you say Bullfrog?

Um.. I love the heat shield and all, but it aint going to help the rider any when the air OUTSIDE the bike is 115 degrees. Maybe someone can make a canopy like Dave made for Teddy that covers the rider.

the only problem with sunscreen is it makes your arms turn black from picking up all the road grime. That is also why it is better to always stay in front of the traffic.

Night ryde
I will still ryde at night or early morning, but we have swarms of Mosquitos here on the stretch towards Miami. The stretch is U.S. 1 North and runs thru the Everglades.
I have a trip planned for the first of June to Mexico and Guatemala where I will stay in the mountains and cooler temperatures.

Bull frog
Does bull frog melt the rubber on your sunglasses? I've had a problem with some sun screens that will melt the rubber on motorcycle sunglasses.

Thanks, I will give it a try. I just bought new Wiley glasses and would not like to lose them to sunscreen.

And that's a fact.
