The Red 2012 RT is back on the road (and turning heads again)
Just another thank you all for the advice on my NEW CORBIN SEAT last night. It is in and looks great and after returning from a morning ride, feels great too. I did have a few extra bolts left over for adjusting the backrest but I will contact Corbin to see what they are for and where they go. For new folks (newer than me) if you have any doubts about some of the advice you see on this site all I can say is try it you will like it. Changing the front shock setting to 5 and adjusting the tire air pressure to 16 or 17 really makes you believe some little elfs must have switched your bike out for something different overnight. After making these adjustments Interstate (I95) travel is now fun and you will not be buffeted by trucks and cross winds that before would put fear in your heart. A little advice about service departments. These folks are just doing a job like you and I. Treat them with respect and you will get respect back. Heck, I even stop by just to say hello sometimes and tell them everything is working fine. It does help that FMS is only a few minutes from my home not a very long ride. Enjoy your riding, remember to be gentle with the stearing and just have fun. And be ready to turn some heads as you ride the highways and byways of this great country of ours.

Corbin supplies you with 3 or 4 different length bolts to adjust the back rest position depending on your size and comfort position.
