Can you imagine a pod like this on a Spyder?

    Thanks, Rando!

I teach a high school engineering design course, and I like to show snippets of videos about such things as smart cars, the Aptera and of course, the Spyder.

I'll definitely treat them to this one next week!

    Today 50,000 pounds =98,380 U.S. dollars.

(So, yeah, "If you have to ask, you can't afford it" probably applies!) ;D

I don't know how to tell you this but the Piaggio MP3 is European, it is Italian. The Gilera Fuoco 500 is also Italian. Here is a quote about it "Gilera looked at Piaggio’s MP3 three-wheeled scooter and decided they also want to do one." and "The three-wheeled Fuoco (Italian for ‘Fire’) is based on the Piaggio MP3’s chassis but has been modified and optimised for sportier handling." So they are both European. And it appears they may be the same company or at least sister companies, here is another headline for you. "Gilera Fuoco 500 to arrive in the USA as the Piaggio MP3 500 (CONFIRMED)". They say it will be a rebadged Gilera sold in the USA as a Piaggio. So there you have it.

Yeah, I thought that's what I said. But the Piaggio MP3 has been altered slightly for the American market. They also obviously have a different name for it. This is all I was trying to point out. I think most understood what I was saying! I actually went to a local shop and took a look at it before ordering the Spyder. But people on this board talked me out of it! 8)
