    Default Sold two Spyders today

Well, indirectly. Friend of ours wanted something that he could ride with his service dog on board. He really liked our Spyders. We went with him and his wife today to the dealer. He and his wife drove Spyders home while we drove their truck. He purchased a 2014 RTS Limited Matte Silver with burgundy seat. She drove home a pre owned 2013 RTS with dealer added GPS, comfort seat and both had the HMT triple play from Custom Dynamics dealer installed. They have Ron Bars and bump skids on order. Both have the Tri Axis handle bars and she has Corbin passenger arm rest that were on the Spyder when the previous owner traded it. All i saw in the rear view mirror was smiles. It was an hour and forty minutes home and when we got there, he said the ride went too fast. Now he will get it set up to carry his service dog.

The dealer was great to work with. Next week we will be taking Bruisersbaby's RTS in for the Tri Axis handle bars.

We really need to get commissions! Tell them to post pictures when they get the setup for the dog complete. The only thing better than a Spyder is a Spyder with a dog on it.

The dealer gave my wife and I each a $25 gas card. Plus $125 off Tri Axis handle bars and installation. Guess that's not to bad for commission.

    Default Bird dog

Perhaps Can Am dealers don't know, but most dealers pay a bird dog commission. When a friend was looking for a certain model and year, I ran across it in my local dealer. I told her, told them to talk to her, she bought it, and I got 100 bucks! Pretty common practice. We just need to make our dealers aware! Joe

Hey Bruiser, congrats on the sales!! Way to get the word out. I'm a little curious...did your friends just happen to purchase the RTS that was sitting in front of Brewer Cycles? I had my eye on that one when I went down for my Laser Alignment. I am the epitome of "You snooze, you lose".
For your friends, I'm sure they will enjoy the many miles of smiles. Welcome to the party!!!

Yes. They did buy from Brewers Cycles in Henderson, NC. Really great dealer and from what I understand, they got a really great deal on the two they purchased. He still has (had) three pre owned RTs there. One of them has a custom exhaust on it. I couldn't get them to crank it up inside the showroom. I will post a pic of that one as soon as I can get it downloaded from the phone.

Did they happen to buy a white RT from Brewers? My buddy traded in his there along with I traded in my yellow 2013 STS there.

They got a lava bronze 2013 and a silver matte 2014. The only pre owned Spyders they had left were a titanium 2012 RTS and two lava bronze RTs. A 2011 green RSS and a yellow 2013 STS. The salesman said the pre owned were going fast. They had quit a few new '13s on the floor. I looked at this: vaquaro.jpgThey had to clean it off after I drooled, I mean, looked at it. Did your STS have 5,888 miles on it?

Gee... the color on that almost looks close-enough, to be allowed to share garage space with a Cognac bike!
