    Awesome lookin ryde.
One question, what is the ridge that runs to the inside of the fender? I have not seen one of these up close yet.
Three in the garage, and I think I can fit at least one more in.....and then we will have to build another garage.
The roads in NY are so bad that I am glad we bought a Ryker Rally

    Just sayin'............

That's how they hide the brackets on the new fenders.
Our old fenders had all of the brackets "under" the fender. The new style fenders have the brackets "on top of" the fender.
I really dig the new fenders!

I wonder if there is any way whatsoever that the new fenders can be attached to the old brackets (modded)....doubt it, but still curious...

Retail pricing I'm seeing is something like $400 for the brackets and another $250 for the fenders......
    They are SOOOO sweet though....

What he said .. The brackets now go on top of the fender and they are covered by the plastic track that has the LED tip.
the old brackets will not work .. The new ones are are a two part kit with spacers and longer bolts... The instructions are not the best, but easy to figure out.
The are very close to the tire (I have the stock size tire)..love the look.

I think that they moved to this setup in order to set the fender a bit closer to the tire for better aerodynamics...
    It looks great!

They also added a skirt on the inside of the tire, presumedly also for aerodynamics.

you are correct Scotty.. the fender kit comes with three plastic sections: one that goes on top of the tire and below the brackets + one that houses the front LED tip + one for the side wall. This last part covers a great deal of the tire facing the A arm.

It looks like the entire set-up provides less air resistance and water channeling towards the rider.. they are a huge improment compared to our original ones.

The previos model has a single bracket. The new set-up comes with two brackets that mount on the same spot with larger bolts and spancers.

like AKA1004 said..no more than $650. As per your FICO score, it can stay above 800 if you pay your credit card bill in full at the end of the month

I like it very cool. I was looking at these as well. My spyder is gloss black and it looks like these are a matt black. I wonder how it would look though? What do you think?

I am guessing you can get them in glossy black as direct replacement for 20013 black/platinum RSS.
$250 for 2 fenders are pretty good and hopefully brp would charge same for glossy black ones???

They do look good but for $650.00 mine do look good as well ill spend the money on other mods and if my fenders start going south than maybe these new ones would be a likely upgrade.

I get what you say...I guess I have a fender fetish since I also replaced my Ducati's OEM fenders for carbon fiber ones...

Does anybody have any idea as to what a paint shop would charge to "color them up" a bit to match a bike?
