Actually some went over, some went between the bars , and some went around the gate in the mud ............it wasn't a pretty sight.

Maybe my football players can get Spydee over the fence!

Yeah, I understand the classes, but can we line up once, against say, the hubby and his Harley? That's really the biggest reason I wanna go. Cause I'm so not going to win with just an exhaust mod, against anyone else.

Dont sell yourself to short, some of the fastest spyders I've road we're exhaust mods only.
Yes we will have a run what you bring class that's open to grudge racing style. I even here rumors of a few quads coming out and a few other vehicles to line up against the all mighty spyders.... Maybe mickeys right they might be fueled by other people's fear
regardless it's going to be a great time and they are also selling high test fuel that night...... Love that stuff!

You can win a race with with what you have! Get out there on a lonely deserted road and practice going through the gears. Become comfortable doing it. Before long, Hubby's going to be the one taking second place!

Will we be doing the 1/4 or 1/8 track, reading their website it says all shootout races are 1/8 and cars 11.80 and slower 1/4? I'm hearing rumors they don't use the 1/4 mile much due to limited shut down area.

We will be running 1/4 mile, Spyders have good brackets the really fast cars there have to run 1/8ths but we will see what happens in test and tune time ....... Nope that didn't work

I did an overhead Satellite view of the track and surrounding area .......the " shutdown area " appeared to be at least 4 to 5 times longer than the 1/4 mile area .......IMHO....Mike....

Putting a few more details together for the drag race and I'm pretty pumped about it.

Aerocharger did an upgrade with a new Digital Wideband Air/Fuel gauge, new O2 sensor and PC extension.

Thanks Dave, I should have figured you would know. That looks very close to a PLC so I suspect it would be fully programmable, I will read up on that more. After posting this I remembered the rev limiter on the Spyder and realized that I would not need one of these after all.
