    Owners manual says it is but it was written by engineers, It also says that you shouldent tow anything, as well as NO having fun while on the spyder. I don't know how well recieved the owners group will be of this fact..

    Break in oil is XP-S Full synthetic. It doesn't have friction modifiers (energy conserving rating) so it is fine for wet clutch us. Modern engines do not need mineral oil for proper break in. That is an old wives tale. Most of the high performance cars come with synthetic...mostly Mobil 1... straight from the factory. Corvettes, Vipers, Turbo Sky's and Solstice, Porsche, Big Dog motorcycles,...and the list goes on.
