SpyderFest is an excellent event!! I think we all can agree on that!

But what do you do when you meet so many people and want to stay in contact with them?!?!? I can't remember everyone's nick on SpyderLovers.

I just got an ad from Vistaprint.com stating you could get 250 business cards for $5!!

Kevin and I will be updating our cards and getting some new ones printed before SF 2013. Just a thought for everyone. It is a cheap way to share your info with everyone. I know several people know about VistaPrint. I have used them at work and personally. Good quality for the price.

Just thought I would share. Wouldn't it be cool if a few hundred people ordered and put SpyderLovers nick on their cards with pic of Spyders!!!!!

The registration page will be updated every Monday with results as of the previous Saturday night. Not to worry about shirt collection, I am sure Spyderfest/MOGANG will come up with something.

Many people travel with a handgun while riding their Spyders. As a former prosecutor, I would like to suggest a few things: first, YOU must check the laws of each state through which your are passing to determine the applicable gun laws. DO NOT RELY ON WHAT YOU READ ON THE INTERNET OR IN BOOKS THAT YOU HAVE NOT VERIFIED BY READING THE ACTUAL STATE LAWS. Every state publishes it gun laws on the internet. Laws pertaining to guns change rapidly; books most often are out of date; and many people posting on the internet don’t know what they are talking about or their information is simply old. YOU ARE OBLIGATED TO KNOW THE LAW – IGNORANCE IS NO EXCUSE. (You have probably heard that before and it is TRUE.)

Our group, 3 of whom have conceal and carry gun permits, will be going through 6 states on our way to Spyderfest. Each state has different gun laws. It has taken a day just finding out how to "stay legal" on our trip. For example, in one state we cannot conceal and carry and our state permits are not valid; but we can open carry a gun on our belt. The next state over permits conceal and carry with a permit from our home state but not open carry. Go figure.

In any event, don’t risk spoiling your trip and spending time in a local “pokey”. Do your homework. This is our first Spyderfest and we are looking forward to the folks and events.

Our group, 3 of whom have conceal and carry gun permits, will be going through 6 states on our way to Spyderfest. Each state has different gun laws. It has taken a day just finding out how to "stay legal" on our trip. For example, in one state we cannot conceal and carry and our state permits are not valid; but we can open carry a gun on our belt. The next state over permits conceal and carry with a permit from our home state but not open carry. Go figure.

In any event, don’t risk spoiling your trip and spending time in a local “pokey”. Do your homework. This is our first Spyderfest and we are looking forward to the folks and events.

Thanks for posting this. I'm in Kansas so I don't have a lot of states to be concerned about. Happily for me, Missouri and Kansas are reciprocal in recognizing each other's carry permits.

Here is what I have based on SpyderLady's data (Total at the bottom). These are in alphabetical order (Spyderlover Name) not in registered time order. It's easier to find who you're looking for this way. I can do it either way.

I've added some states where I could find them. I'll total the number registered by state if I get the info.
