Default Spyderfest 2013--One day pass question

I can only attend one day. Do I still have to pay the full price. I won't even be down there till Saturday afternoon. Wanting to see the Venders and enjoy a little of the festivities. Just wondering. Thanks.

Good to see some Canadians representing their country and their (Canadian) product (BRP) at Spyderfest. You'll have a great time and we hope to see as many Canadians as can make it!

As I remember, the 50 bucks gets you into all the Spyderfest events and the food served at those events.

With all that goes on at Spyderfest, you get a good bang for your buck!

The no t-shirt after the April 1st cutoff is to encourage people to register early. They need get a good head count for food and logistics.

Thank you Yazz. The 50 bucks gets you into the drag races (not a cheap event to put on....emts on site, tuners, light people, use of the track, etc. Then there are the events each night, including a secret pie run (you have to buy your own pie) two fireworks shows and these are not amature shows, the best people and fun you can have. And yes it will include some meals and a tee shirt if you register on line.

    Default Name Change

With Lamont's help, I've changed my forum handle. I got tired of 'bxntrk' and wanted something more plain. So I'm now 'PrairieSpyder' on this site.

Until SpyderFest and Owners' Event are over, I'll reference both, since I'm on lists for both events.

Is there a story behind the origin of "Bxntrk"?

All the hotels on the spyderfest page are filled now (America's best did not answer the phone though so not sure about them). The Econolodge has a sister hotel - the Baymont a little ways away that is also honoring the $71 rates if you need. We managed to book there.

Yes there is. I could never figure out what I wanted to be when I grew up. After reaching a "certain age" I decided my goal in life is to become a "rich, eccentric old broad." I may become old with just the passage of time, and now I doubt if I'll ever really be rich, so I've been concentrating on being eccentric. So Bxntrk is pronounced "be eccentric." Though the pronunciation is obvious to me, I don't think anyone else got it. So I'm changing my handle, but not my goal!
