Brrr...left Kyle, TX yesterday at 27 degrees. Drove back roads to San Angelo and Goodfellow AFB. Great trip...chilly, but I am OK. Spyder RT handled great.
Today, went from 27 to 61 degrees in El Paso. Wow. 75 and 80 mph. No problem.
Tomorrow, Tucson to visit the Titan II nuclear missile museum. Did I mention, I was a missileer in another life?
I'm glad it warmed up for you. Have fun in Tucson.

I got to meet up with John this morning, at the Titan Missle Site, south of Tucson. (42 degrees when I left.) We took the back roads thru the Copper Mines, back to Tucson, where we fueled up and got a refreshment. Then took a ride thru Saguaro Nat. Park to the Old Tucson Studios, for a photo op. Then headed up the back roads, to Marana, where he picked up I-10 and continued on his journey to Calif. for the Rose Parade. (I'll be lookin' for you John, be sure to wave)
Thanks for giving me a shout for the meet-up. It was a pleasure to ride with you.
....and we're gonna ride, we're gonna ride.....
ride like the one-eyed Jack of Diamonds, with
the devil close behind,.....we're gonna ride....
Wow. Left Tucson around noon after ryding with Big Arm. What a joy! More on the trip later. Yesterday, I ran into rain near Palm Springs, CA so with less than an hour to go, I pulled into Beaumont, CA. Rain gear worked great. Traffic was very good to me, but darkness and wet roads pulled at my better judgement.
Today, off to Church and then to visit my brother in Anaheim.
