    Maybe with front wheels down, but you'd have some risk of dragging the nose on the road surface. Then again, I can't imagine trying to tow it on the rear wheel with the belt drive.

    I think the real answer is NO!

    The design of the Spyder is not tow-dolly friendly, Why do you want to tow with it.

    Manual says "NO" too. If you need to tow it you'll want to use a flat bed or enclosed trailer instead.

    It has been tried (with a GS) but nobody has reported being successful...just failures.

    I have looked at my tow dolly for 20 months trying to figure out how to extend and put a brace to support the rear wheel when you drive on it.
    No plans yet.

    I also have a tow dolly, but haven't used it for the Spyder.......yet. I have a '08 GS, and I will try it this spring. I really think it could be done, by jacking up the Spyder till the rear wheel just clears, then remove the lower bolt on the rear shock, to remove the belt. Tie the belt off to the side, and I think you'd be good to go. I may have to remove the front fenders for the clearance of the wheel straps. Sorry I can't help now, but I've been wanting to give this a try. I'll look at it again, after I return from Tucson.

    Default spyder tow dolly

    Well, my R.S. on a weekend, last summer, (QUIT), dealer was closed, I have a small 4' + 6' tilt trailer, SO I pushed the spyder's back wheel, on trailer, strapped it down, & tied the handle-bars with rope to the passenger grab bar's, so they will stay straight (altho I don't think that was necessary, as steering is hard too turn with the engine not running), & left the front wheel's on the ground !! , towed about 30 miles, No problem's !!! , any port in a storm!! hee-hee, worked for ME!!

    As long as the nose didn't bottom out on the road surface;
