    Default OREGON BOUND SUNDAY

For the most part Sunday's ride was quiet and uneventful.
Leaving Fort Worth Tx about 8:00 AM heading for HWY 20 to HWY 10 stopping in Las Cruses New Mexico about 8:00 PM local time. here I found a hotel for the night.
I took a few pics on the way when I had to finally stop for a rest from battling 40 MPH head winds and cross winds. My new BajaRon Anti Sway bar did OK, but honestly was hopping for better performance from it. Please don't miss understand me on this, the BAR is a great idea and does perform hands down much better than stock. It did take out most of the Rock-N-Roll from high cross winds that I experienced up north on HWY 40 last week and some of the Air Turbulance when approaching and passing big rigs.

Thanks to Ron on this Mod.

I better get going, Hope to make California today on HWY 10.

    Default rt shocks

hey mr looney, you might consider a pair of rt shocks. they help quite a bit with crosswinds travel safe.
it was fun while it lasted.

    Default Hydroplane

Thanks for the warning about Hydroplaning... As a new Spyder Ryder, I was not aware of this safety factor. As a seasoned car driver, I know there are many differences between ice, snow and water... So far I have had lots of sunshine, snow and Ice on my journey... but no water as of yet.

When I find wet roads I will be looking for slippery conditions.

    Thanks

    Dan

    Default No RT shocks but

We are in Desert Center California about 2 miles north of hwy 10. 55 miles from the border with AZ. A friend and I will be riding to Beaumont tomorrow the 18th leaving here about 10 AM. Stop in to see us if you have time. Cell # 760-296-8697. Perhaps we can join you for about 100 miles as you travel west on US 10. BTW. I will head back to China on Jan 4 for another 2 weeks. Hopefully the weather will be better than the last trip cold and rain 13 out of the 14 days. Of course the sun cam out the day I left HK to fly home. Mike

i have a set of 2010 shocks from my RT laying around. They have 20k on them, but nothing wrong, just upgraded to works performance. I won't ship/ you would have to pick up if interested.
