    Default Welcome Pack

What is this welcome pack everyone keeps mentioning? We have not received anything that sounds like a welcome pack. Should we? Or is this something that's been dropped or dealer dependent?

I was first told by my dealer they no longer sent the welcome package, but they did.
Yes, it took a long time to get one. We purchased our 2012 Spyder Aug 1st and did not get the welcome packet until Late Oct. It contained a Spyder patch, and a Spyder Pin with directions how to sign up to BRP web site. They no longer provide cert for the transmission filter upgrade ext.

I bought mine September of this year and it just showed up a couple of weeks ago. I think I signed up on BRP's site prior to getting it so maybe that is what you have to do first? Not sure....

May be that is why I got the welcome packet. I also registered on BRP site. Funny then why the packet gives you instructions to do what would trigger the packet

I bought mine on Oct 8, and the package came in around the end of November. I was registered with my RS, had to use a new email address, and pick a new name.
Is it Friday yet? ... Oh yeah, I forgot. I'm retired

    Cool Welcome packet

I got mine about 3 weeks back. I purchased the spyder the first week of October 2012. I have also received the 2013 catalog book although I have a 2012 spyder. :

Well we got our Spyder in Sept and have yet to receive it. I'm wondering if it's dealer dependent and our dealer didn't do something that triggers it. But at least one of you said it too 5 months so guess we should just sit back and wait.

Two or three who received the pack have mentioned registering on the BRP web site. I registered and got the pack. Maybe registering is required.

I THINK I registered on the site first, too. I bought mine August 30th and got my pack in the mail about a month later. I'm not sure what I did with my little cards though, would be nice to have something to hand out to people who stop to talk. Maybe the rep will have extras at the MCS in DC next month?

I registered on the BRP site also and I am from Texas :-)...Did you purchase your spyder brand new or did it already have some mileage on it? Just wondering if that could be the culprit of you not recieving the packet yet. I know that is reaching for straws because I have seen posts from others who purchased a brand new spyder and didn't get the packet. I guess it is like the free tickets to the motorcycle show. Some got them and some(including me) didn't get them???

I bought mine used and got the welcome package 5 or 6 weeks after I registered on BRP's website.
