Well this is a first for me Spyder RT icing up
I live in western Ma, and I real wish to ride my Spyder RT to work this Friday morning.
Well the outside temp was 28F and it is an hour ride to work. As I was riding on I-91 south going around the Mountain I hit heavy and wet fog. After ½ of riding I looked down and there was big ice chucks forming on the windshield, air deflector and the mirrors.
I would never have ridden my old Goldwing in this temp but the Spyder RT works great. Now as I pulled up to the guard shack the ice chunks started to drop off it was the funniest thing I have seen. I do have to say the Spyder handles great in this temp, but I do need to start thinking about black ice on the road.
I do love this bike.

Just please make sure to be aware of road surface conditions; if your bike is freezing up, so could the road...

Winterize is not in my vocabulary either. I've been out at 8°F Love the bike for sure! Don't know if you have them, but the Baker air wings help in the cooler weather!
