I'm thinking 2 foot brake petals, then I can jam on both feet like I do in my cage sometimes..

I am a bit surprised at the results of the poll. Almost twice as many in favor of the added brake lever.

I also got surprised when I initiated a poll about wanting a bigger engine for the Spyder. Two to one wanted to keep the engine we had and not go to a bigger one.

Did a canyon run today on the Spyder. A couple of times I wanted a hand brake to be able to trail brake the apex like I do with a bike. It's much harder to modulate with the foot; I can't feather the brakes AND hang off at the same time. Must practice.
When life throws you curves, aim for the apex

I have had the fear of the unknown syndrome myself when I was first introduced to the Spyder with the SE transmission. I thought the SE was a stupid idea and also thought it would be nothing but problems, so I bought the manual instead.

Long story short.......after learning about it and driving one, my next Spyder will be a SE. And if this 34% crowd had the opportunity to ride and get used to a Spyder with a handbrake option, this number would greatly reduce .
I agree with Randy on 110 %, especially the SE-5 tranny.....when I bought my first Spyder a used 08 ( in 09 ) I actually had a choice of the manual or the SE-5.....I opted for the Manual....Now that I also have an SE, I would not have gotten the Manual.....JMHO.......Mike
