FOUND THESE INTERESTING LED's

I'm not much into "farkling", buuuuuuuuuut I came across some LED lights ----two separate units containing about 15 lights each that are quite bright........I'm thinking about using them in the daytime in lew of my regular headlights (60 watts each). They have an interesting feature....a module that can control a sort of wig-wag blinking on/off......with a speed controller to boot.......they are only $40 with all the wiring and a lighted switch........Now I have to find out if they are legal.......I have seen Mtc's with Headlite Modulator's (?) so I don't know if these LED's would qualify...................I'll let you know...........Mike. Well, for the curious I haven't made the purchase because of the unknown legal issues,...... And Bob both lights are never off at the same time so there may be a loop hole here. They do appear brighter than my low beams....I will get more info on this.....I did get a demonstration in the store (they have a test battery) and when they WIG-WAG it certainly gets your attention IMHO...new info..there is no speed controller....they are either both on, or wig-wag med.fast, or wig-wag extremely fast (this I like, gets your attn.)it does have a switch for this function....In Vt. if headlites are on no issue....if headlites are off by the time you get stopped turn the switch on and claim ignorance.....you didn't hear that from me though......and they actually have 22 LEDS...not 15...I mis-counted...Made by ALPENA IN CANADA also check Marklyn co. for info......MORE INFO TO FOLLOW.....

I think that some more information is desparately needed...
If Vermont requires a motorcycle to have its headlight on; those lights probably won't satisfy the law...

Micromark.com have LED lights in strip form with controller and connectors for reasonable prices. They may not be suitable for external use but worth a wee look.
This is not offered as an alternate but just another place of interest to look.
