What happened at Venom in Vandiver
We had a great event for our first time. We had 52 Spyders and 19 of those things with only 2 wheels. Almost everyone went on the track at Barber Motorsports Park for 4 or 5 laps and had a great time. We donated $2800.00 to Operation Lima Foxtrot at Lakeshore Foundation for injured Military heros. The event was a lot of fun, we learned a lot as an organization and what to do and not do at our next event. The majority of feedback was positive. We did have a few problems that have been noted and will be addressed. I hope that everyone who went will give us some feed back so we make sure we address all issues.
For those of you who participated, thank you. For the folks that didn't make this years event we are going to do it again next year and it will be bigger, better organized and more fun.

Our group had a great time. We are looking forward to next year as long as Big #1 promises to be open on Sunday again. They were a big help.

Our group from Houston also had a great time. The track and Barber museum were awesome. Did not realize that the museum had so much stuff on display. The Courtyard 25 and its staff were also a good choice. Look forward to returning again next year. Maybe next year we could also hit the Talledega track. Great job to all those who organized the event. Only regret was the weather for the ride home but that was out of everyone's control. Again great job.

on the funds raised. If I was closer I'd be there for sure. 4 laps at Barber would be so cool to do.

Photos of V in V
For now I have posted about 70 photos on facebook on Spyder Ryder of America - Tenn Valley. http://www.facebook.com/#!/media/set...1725923&type=1
We had a professional video person on hand for the ride at Barber and we will be posting that video and an order location where you can purchase a DVD and a CD with all of the photos on it.

Due to planning issues, we are going to make it the Annual SRA-TVC meeting. This meeting is going to kickstart planning for the 2014 VnV.

I also heard we will be able to visit the museum and run on the race track for $25 each.
I thought the run on the track last year was more fun that doing The Dragon!
