my GS-R - Part I
I want to share with you all the outcome of what I call project GS-R.
It all started with just wanting to personalize my Sypder a little bit .. and it turned into many many hours of fun and great times with friends.
pals.JPG
1. It started by talking all Tupperware off and to the painters
- All top panels painted in flat back
- All side panels painted in silver (I think is one of BRPs smartest color)
- Upper suspension arm covers in silver
- Sport rack and lid in flat black

2. Then all metal parts got powder coated
- Front wheels
- Rear wheel and more
- Handlebar cover
- Hindle exhaust and heat shields
- Passenger and rider pegs
wheel.JPG
3. Then some performance enhancements
- Ceramic coated all exhaust pipes.. this also helped with the head transfer to the rider
- BajaRon spark plug wires
- New NGK platinum plugs
- Already had : the O2 censor eliminator + 2011 RT shocks + K&N air filter
4. Then some dressing up
- Carbon fiber CAN-AM and Spyder (tail) decals
- GS-R decal for the front, rear, and many more places
- Carbon fiber wrapped the Sport windshield and the top portion where the safety card slides into
- Carbon fiber inserts for the Handlebar cover

My GS-R part II
when all it was done, the next day I took the bike in a fuel and food only stops from Miami to Lamonster BBQ (900 miles ride). Then, for further testing, went riding at the Tail of the Dragon. All came together as planned and all thanks to a great friend and riding pal.

Thinks out loud
Nicely done

The decals came from a local shop.. I have purchased a few items from powersports, and Pete is great to deal with

Looks good without fender. The black out look is very close to my RSS.

the a-arms look like metal instead of plastic, very nice. i love the lower front end, huge improvement over stock, also very nice. excellent work spy. are the a-arm covers hard to remove? i've never taken one off.
it was fun while it lasted.
