Thinking about paint/graphics

I really like the blacked out look of the yellow ST as that's pretty much what I did to my RS. There's no chrome on my RS and I like it like that. The problem is there's too much yellow for me so I've been painting and adding graphics in my head (that's the only way I can do it) and I've come up with most of what I want to do.

On the hood O plan on doing a graphic like this in the middle panel to carry the black down from the console.



I'm thinking both side access panels need to be black too along with the front fender supports. I plan on going with the Corbin bags and those would be black too. I had to decide if I want to go with a gloss black or a semi gloss black. I may even go with the Timeless Black like my trailer and then it would all match. As you can tell I'm getting really excited about this project.


So what are your plans for customizing your ST if any?

for me all three modells need two different colours - should be possible if you order -rs-rt.jpgred bull.jpg to select all the plastics in what colour you like to make it individual without a price change ..
met an RSS on the weekend - thats it !!
(the other one is RED BULL - also an Austrian company..)

would be nice of our fotoshop users could make some ST-colour-samples ..

I originally stole some ideas for my design from Lamont's GS. I can't wait to see his new ST when completed.

Everyone of those chome aerosal spray paints that I have seen are a complete joke and not even close to being chrome.

Our Buddy Arr had some really cool "Clockworks" graphics worked out for his RT... perhaps that can be adapted to the ST design?

I'd tone down the yellow with black paint or graphics on the hood and fenders, basically a two tone system like the RS-S but with a lot more personal style. Black and yellow look great together.

I'd also seriously consider doing something with the Black Currant color of the ST Limited. That would be radically new and different.

I don't know Charlyne. I am more into the "stock" look myself.

I don't dislike the yellow, but the magnesium for me, as I prefer the subtle look. We wont see these in NZ for quite some time, so plenty of time to save some $s and work out what to do to it
