    Default RS iPhone ram mount

Here's an IPhone 4 ram mount I made for my 2012 RS. I wanted something removable and easy to use. I used a short arm mount and utilized the existing vent holes in the dash, drilling just one 1/8" hole to line up the top screw. I used two ss fender washers in back to add stability to the mount. Here are a few instal photos below. Tell me what you think!

I'm using the same holder (bigger size) for the ZOOM and never had a problem. Just remove the phone at the first signs of rain.

I purchased a Buybits mount kit through Amazon that had the holder and wiring kit that works very well. You might eat to look at it.

That's a nicely executed modification. Should give secure mounting with easy access. For what it's worth, and I'm not suggesting you do this my I touch survived a trip through the washer. Not a recommended cleaning method

    Default IPhone Mount

I used this mount - It is designed for the Otterbox Commuter Case on the Iphone 4.
    It is very secure. http://www.ebay.com/itm/SlipGrip-RAM...-/400191446903

I also ran a 12v power cord up from the trunk outlet and will
secure it on the little metal tab that rests on the rubber shroud (under the handlebars)

Then I can just pop it out and plug it in. I'll post more photos when I get that part wrapped up
and weatherproofed (since the cord will always be there)

    Thanks.
