Thank God he had a helmet on.. Here in CT I see a lot of riders not wearing helmets. Not required doesn't mean you shouldn't wear one.

Wow, just reading this for the first time !! I am so glad he is doing ok, and that he injuries are not more severe.

I have been in that situation with my arm before, two completely broken bones and doctors telling me I would never use my arm again because of the severity of the break and the nerve damage. I worked so hard to get back into shape that I went back to my doctor a year and a half later and showed him how well my middle finger worked.

I heard the news of your son, Nathan, over the weekend while hosting the 2012 Fall Mid-Atlantic Scooter Rally and Spyder Ryde in New Holland, PA, at which we had more than a dozen Spyders ... all of us joining in making Nathan and your family the subject of heartfelt concern, fond meanderings about Spyderlovers.com, and prayers that your son pulls through.
