    Default Latch adjustment

Hello everyone. I do not know if this has been posted or not. My left side compartment did not like to open without alittle push. So I decided I would try and adjust it. I could not find any info in the manual. i did figure it out. Sso I thought I would post 3 pics of where the cable is. If you adjusted cables before, it is an easy process. I only had to turn it out a half a turn, then snug the jam. I tested it and it works GREAT now.Cable Adjustment1.jpgCable Adjustment2.jpgCable Adjustment3.jpg

Thanks for sharing what you did. Had the same problem with my left side bag and did the same procedure as you to fix it.

Heyyyyy.. My left bag is also needing some attention! Are ALL of the left bags this way? Does the "Left Bag" guy at the factory know that he needs some more training??

Just to be different my right side doesn't always release without a push of the lid. Now I'll fix it. Thanks.

Thanks again for this post! I got mine adjusted and they are both opening great now. When making the adjustment I unscrewed the assembly to make it longer.

Worked well for me too. It would unlatch but not pop open; found that top of lid was rubbing and hanging up. A bit of silicone solved it, at least for a while.
