Will the bracket be lower than what you have then?
No because I think that's going to be a good place for most folks. I checked it with my wife and son and it worked for them too. If you need it lower or forward or even back to you, you can use the offset.

pipe sounds good.can tell a difference in sound..lots of air flow.you did'nt need to change anything such as fuel ecm ,etc... i did notice what i thought was a most LIKELY false statement you said.../my last mod honest. yea right
keep moddin we look forward to your changes .taller windshield,. brake, turn and stop lights on rear of front fenders instead of reflectors..well i have to keep looking for some sort of lights for rear of front fender.lots of options in J&P. and custom truck shops . I have been going through the SpyderLover "archives" and I came across this picture. Long before I ever thought of getting a Spyder or even heard of one, I was killing time reading through some co-worker's bike magazines. I definately remember this picture. I don't remember anything about the write-up but I do remember the picture as that has the styling / color that I used to look for in bikes. Bad and black.
