Probably a lot of fun downhill but those uphill sections are going to be a challenge.

I had something like that when I was 2, but I never could get my legs moving fast enough to get any speed.

Well on the bright side; there shouldn't be much argument if you want to park it in the living room...

Kind of a blank canvas eh? Looks like fun....like Mike on American Pickers said...."Guys are building bikes from an oil stain these days"!

You got way more than an oil stain there!!

AND, it's a lot nicer color than my new project!! (The tiny tuner belongs to the PO)

    I think she is Bob!

It's a '96 VMax that's a little beat up but with a wicked good motor & trannie. Found it on the Maine C/L at a very good price.
Reason for the good price was an insistent backfire at idle, altho very strong under throttle.
Pulled the carbs, dis-assembled them and found that the main bleed pipe had come loose and fallen in front of the main jet. Hard accelleration would pull it up and allow fuel to get by but at idle it would bob up and down....almost like a float valve....sometimes allowing gas thru, sometimes not.
At least that's my theory.....so far.

I'll gather the parts needed to get her all fixed up over the winter, a nice hi-gloss black paint job, maybe forks & brake rebuilds and sell it in the spring.

Altho, I find I'm getting a bit attached to it....maybe I'll ride it till mid-summer,,,,,,THEN sell it!
