Looks good, but I bet it can't beat the "bottle cap" that I use... cost wise.....LOL

I don't see how I can add an attachment (photo) to my post ??

If you're okay with putting a bottle cap on your axle then more power to you, or should I say more Powerade to you.

I use www.putfile.com for loading pics.

BLACK .... Not a fan of chrome for the Spyder. Could live with billet.

I think they will only be offered in black or billet. We talked about matching front caps too.

I took the tops off of 64 oz cranberry juice bottles and spray painted one with chrome paint and one with black. They are perfect snap on size. The black looks better than the chrome since chrome seems to be a cruiser style. I will keep looking for something better, but the black cap covers the left nut and blends nicely with the black swingarm. The axle nut on the right side is hidden by the exhaust.

That is exactly what I did months ago and posted about it !! I now went one better by using the chrome ring that came with a set of round reflectors (purchased at Publix) and putting it in back of the bottle top...perfect fit...makes for a finished "edge" on the cap. I also cut out the "Y" from a Spyder sticker and put it on the silver painted cap. Great custom look and no one would ever guess where the parts came from !

You would think that with that steel axle nut just sticking out there on the left side would have caught the attention of some design detail person at BRP. If it can be cleaned up with a 5 cent plastic cap, I'm sure they can design an accessory version for $20 - $25.

I would deffinitely like some more info on this - my crappy looking axle nuts were one of the first things I noticed would need fixed/replaced on my Spyder.

Seriously, check out the plastic screw on tops on large cranberry juice or Gatorade bottles. Spray paint with black enamel and it snaps right over the axle nut. The left is most annoying since the right is behind the exhaust. I just followed the lead of Way2fast and started experimenting with bottle caps. It really looks better than that naked steel nut.
