Only One Exhaust Spring Used On RT?

I had the side panels off my 2010 RT for service today and noticed that only the right side exhaust slip joint has a spring. The left side slip joint has holders for a spring but no spring. I though it may have been left off until I looked it up on the parts catalog (part 26 - quantity 1). Apparently all model RT's (2010-2012) use only one spring on the right side? Could this be a mistake?

NO mistake.
There is only one, The holder is for other Can Am applications.
