600 mile how critical is it?
I'm close to the 600 mile service. There's no way I'm going to be able to get it done before the BBQ. Looks like I'll have close to 1500 miles (or more) before I get to it. What are the consequences???

They slap you and take away your bus pass...
1500 miles would seem to be stretching it a little bit... As long as you're keeping an eye on the oil you should be okay...

I pushed mine to 800, but I wouldn't personally go above 1000, can you get it done on the way?
Pre-book on route and take a break while its done, only works if there is a dealer on route

I'd sure get it done, if at all possible
In case you ever have a warranty problem (particularly engine or drive train accessory), there is no telling what BRP would say about going 1,000 miles over the first look see, IMHO. The mx people are supposed to do several other things also - evidently some don't do much, but that's another issue.
Schedule at least an oil change enroute next week, if possible. Only takes an hour or two and you've done the most important part, in theory. I doubt if Lamonster has oil changes in mind on Thursday. I think there's a dealer in Morristown.

I'd think you are farther ahead getting it serviced at 500 miles as opposed to 1,500.
I'd get 'er done before you go.

There's no way I can get it done before the trip. However, an oil change at the BBQ is possible.

There will be a lot of folks who will want oil at the BBQ so I would, to be safe, bring the oil and filters with you if you can and then do it at the BBQ. Or just do it early!

BRP uses a beak-in oil and it can cause problems down the road. There is alot people to help change it on Thursday let BajRon bring some oil and filters for you.
