What I was originally considering was these being the type that have the vinyl letter transfers that you transfer buy rubbing. That said, I hear that with them even being about 1 in. by 3 in., it would be about $13.00.
Sooooo, Ron, I would be interested if they looked something like I posted.. The logo on the sticker included with the purchase is too big and a bit too busy for my purpose. I wanted simple yet affective to reflect the hidden upgrade. Make sense?

As good as they are you really can't "raise the bar" on the next batch

My head is now spinning!
Is there any way that you could create some sort of a cheat sheet with what you now feel is the best process for installation?
I'm too dizzy and nervous!
The current written instructions that you received with the bar are my best thoughts on this install. I have been asking for feedback on both the bar and the instructions and the response has been positive on both counts. I have incorporated a few very good ideas into the instruction sheet.
Some have made a custom piece of wood to block the Frunk away from the frame, most just use a knee, a properly sized piece of 'Somethingorother' that is laying around, or a helper to hold the Frunk away from the frame.
Once you get into it with the step by step instructions it will become very clear what needs to happen. The visual of having your Spyder in front of you will make things much easier. Most are actually surprised that the install is not nearly as difficult as they expected.

Thanks! I was just wondering if you had seen anything posted by new RonBar converts that might have made better sense...
Make another copy of the instructions...
Read, re-read, re-re-read,
repeat 469 more times
Once it is firmly embedded into my feeble mind; only THEN will I go throw up once last time, and head for the garage!

You are WAY over thinking this. When you're done you'll realize how much emotional energy you wasted when you could have been riding and enjoying life.

BOLT SIZES FOR THE SWAYBAR
Ron is due to ship my Swaybar soon and just to get ready for the Install - I want to check the size of the 6 bolts used because I want to
replace them with Stainless Steel ones -
I have checked the BRP Parts section for my 2010 Spyder RT-S SE5 Models and it lists the following bolt sizes
4 x M8 x 20 - Bolts to hold the brackets -Bushing clamp bolts - No 24
2 X M8 x 40 - Bolts for the Heim joint link to swaybar bolts - No 27
I know Ron's bar is slightly larger in diameter but will the above bolts be the correct size - I intend to use Locknuts on them so I want to
be sure the bolts comes pass the locknut insert to give the correct fitting
Thanks

Stock bolt sizes are fine. Be sure to get shouldered bolts for the Heim Joint Links. Nothing wrong with getting SS bolts, but it really is not necessary.

Just installed new sway bar and I can defintely feel the improved handling. Even with Elkas already added, it is a great mod. This is a must have!!!
I lined up the old sway bar with the Ron's bar.I put the metal collars in the exact location of the the collars located on the stock bar so I didn't have to do any measuring to center the bar.

Re: UPDATE - Custom Performance Anti-Sway Bar for the RT
I should have asked before, but is there a specific torque spec I need to torque these bolts to?

I did not torque mine. I just "tightened" them. They are nylok so the nuts will not loosen easily.

You may be confusing the RS bar with the RT bar.
I am now producing a stiffer bar for the RS (it is Red). The RT bar (Black) is the same.

Will you have any of the new RS sway bars at Spyderfest? Not that I've ever wished to take the curves faster or anything... whistling smiley.gif

Love my
Statistics show that most motorcycle accidents are caused by a defective nut holding the handlbars.
