    Default throttle question

When driving the paddle shifter, are you rotating the throttle closed before shifting and then rolling on again? I find I have this habit from my other days riding 2 wheeled machines with clutches, but don't know if it makes a difference here. ????

Cool NO - The SE5 is designed to be held wide open when shifting

Keep your RPMs up around 5ooo and shift away, holding the throttle steady and it should be smooth as silk

I used to do that too, but found much smoother to keep throttle steady and just tap paddle. Big difference

Default Let the SE5 do the work

Like the others above have already said...keep your throttle position steady...it will blip the RPMs for you when shifting.

Since it's a throttle by wire setup, it automatically drops the revs for the shifting. You just hold it steady and let the computers do their dance!

It always startles me when I see those RPMs drop so suddenly.

They got you covered. Hold the throttle position and blip the shifter to the gear you want.
