Ok guys please remember I am new to the bike world so if this is a stupid question forgive me. I bought the Can Am Spyder mesh riding gear, the jacket and pants. I am a 34 to 35 waist. According to the sizes the 34 pants fit a 34-36 in waist and the 36 pants fit 36-38 in waist. I bought the 34 and they fit exact. My question is do you guys wear shorts or something underneath in the event you want to shed the pants in the heat? If I tried to wear shorts there is no way I could get into the pants. So are they suppose to fit snug and tight or should there be some play? Hope I worded all this right and really appreciate the input you guys can give me.
I don't buy Canam riding gear, but if these are like the ICon mesh overpants that I wear then you bought too small.
Mine are sized to wear jeans or short underneath.
Typically riders wear jeans or shorts underneath...almost always if the mesh pants are overpants that zip clear up the side. Thise are made to wear over your normal pants. Every manufacturer is different in their sizing. Apparently the Can-Am pants run small. With FirstGear you buy the same size pant you normally wear...they are made slightly bigger to fit over the top.
