Goodbye, it HAS been fun
Hello All,
I haven't been around for a while, but the forum had been so helpful to me when I was thinking about buying (and afterward buying) that I wanted to say "Thanks" before I left. I have some kind of soft tissue damage in my right elbow and the push- pull steering of the Spyder seems to aggravate it. I've been riding something for 22 years and am sad to have to sell (especially when it's not paid off yet!).
Best Accessory I bought was the high mounted brake light, but the heel-to-shifter from Inspector Gadget was also a must-have for me.
Anyway, I wanted to say Thanks! and that I was very happy with the Spyder. I did not have any technical problems in my 2010 and saw a lot of good roads. Bon Voyage.

It is sad when our physical limitations get in the way of doing what we have loved for most of our lives. Been there, done that! I hope you find a suitable replacement for the niche once filled by riding. I wish you the very best.

So sorry to see you leave, the whole reason I have a Spyder is because of a medical type of problem but my Spyder solved that over my Harley I had so it's in the wind for me for a long time I hope

Please reconsider, elbows take time to heal. I once had tennis elbow for six months and everything aggravated it. But it finally healed and I haven't had problems since. I didn't have the Spyder back then but if I did I wouldn't have been able to ride it. If I sold it I would have been really upset with myself when my elbow finally healed.
Whatever you decide, best of luck to you.

Best wishes to you. Hope you find something just as fun to fill the void.

Thanks again,
To the post from pro10is. I very much appreciate the advice, but this has been going on for almost a year. I have tried wearing an elbow brace and wrist brace, ibuprofen etc., all for naught. It doesn't hurt so bad that I'm stuck, but it's very uncomfortable. It is indeed a bummer.
To those afraid that I am stuck driving a some bland brand of car; I think my Miata will see much more of me in the near future (see the big grin is still there....).
Oh, thanks to those who have posted about the new oil change body panel. I have passed this along to my Mother (who has a Viper Red RT-S).
Bless you all,
John S,

John S,
John,
Based on the info I got from Rider's Choice, I may have been the <lucky> guy that just got your RT. I'm sorry for the reasons you had to sell, but I'm thankful that I was the guy who was lucky enough to get to Rider's Choice first.
If I have any questions and you are still visiting here, maybe I could PM you?
Good Luck, and Thanks.
John in Ridgecrest.
