Need help!
Hey gang, I mistakenly shut my 2012 RS SE5 off while in Reverse, now I am unable to start it up. When I put the ignition in the ON position all the reverse lights come on but I cannot put into neutral or start up. Anyone ever experience this, or known the solution? Thanks!

apply the break and try starting, the bike should start and it will automatically drop into neutral

This makes me think of when we bought our first spyder. We bought it used and hubby was driving it home while I followed him. We stopped for lunch and I took off, but he never left the parking lot. I turned around and he was hopping mad. Mumbling stuff about being sold a problem bike, etc. He couldn't get it to start. My truck has to have the brake pedal pushed before stuff works right so without a second thought I asked it he had pushed the brake pedal.
He tried it again and it started right up. Oh, the look I got from him! Nothing like being told how to work machinery from a woman.

Had the same thing happen to me....while at the dealer. Had to go in and get someone to help. Don't think that wasn't embarrassing.
