Someone else on here already has something like this installed so I am sure you will get an answer soon. My issue is that I find the mirrors already too small so I personally would not like to take up any more real estate on the mirror and used the fender LED's instead.

I also went with the fender LEDs -- can't miss those puppies blinking at you day or night

You will definately get seen with those. My preference is still the fender type led's.

These mount on the surface of the glass, you don't have take the mirror apart, I just pushed the glass in as far as it would go nearest the bike then drilled a small hole just behind the glass. I will make sense if you look at it. I then removed the mirrors and fished a long zip tie I had and worked out the same hole as the wiring for the turn signal. I connected the wires into the turn signal harness on the mirror side of the disconnect and Bob's your uncle. They will wash out if the sun is behind you so they do not solve the problem completetly but the do help. I have also had several drivers tell me that they seen my signal come and and back off to allow me to turn into the lane so they do get other drivers attention.

Once mounted you will only see a tiny bit of red and white wiring coming from the point of the arror. I put a touch of black paint on wires and they disapper completely.

    Good luck

Any reason a person couldn't do this themselves using the above units... just mount on the inside..?
