    Default Utopia info?

I was completing an order for a backrest when I started to wonder: Does the weight of the backrest cause problems with the seat staying open when fueling? Anybody have the Utopia? I had a Utopia on my GW for years. It worked fine but the seat did not raise on the GW... the RT is obviously different. Thanks.

Best money I've spent so far. Does not present a problem. Make longer trips much more enjoyable.

I have found, on my RT installation, that with the Utopia in it's normal forward position it's very close to the "tipping" point of just being enough weight that the seat sometimes comes down. So I just flip the Utopia back towards the passenger end when fueling, and that's solved the issue completely.

How do you mount your spyder rs with a back rest in the middle of the seat like the Utopia backrest? Do you just kick your leg higher to clear the backrest?

Had no problem at all with the seat and Utopia since I had Len install a gas door on the seat. Loving ryding my roadster.
