Four way Flashers

Pulled over in the mountains to add some warmer clothing so I turned on the four way flashers. Here's what I noticed and am wondering if all the others work the same? On the Spyder the orange bulbs blink, but not on the trailer. The trailer blinks red lights instead. Is this normal?

With the latest version(s) of the trailer module, the trailer out put is 4-wire, nor 5-wire (actually 6-wire). In addition, the 2011 and newer trailers are 4-wire, and don't even have the orange turn signal bulbs fitted. In other words, it is normal. Your turn signals work in the same manner...orange on the Spyder but (combined) red on the trailer.
