    Default Cup Holder Thread?

There was a thread on here the other day showing mounting a cup holder to the left side clear plastic wing using the ball mount, I searched but can't find it?

I already have both of my wings mounted with ram balls but have decided to go another way. If you want I will trade my wings with balls already attached for yours. We both pay shipping to each other.

PM me if you want to make the swap!

Kicking it around right now, but if I decide to do it that way I'll let you know. It will be soon I have a trip coming up and want a holder before I go. If you don't mind me asking, what are the reaons for going a different route?

I have the RAM cup holder mounted to a KewlMetal GPS bracket (which also has my GPS attached). It's perfect, and keeps my cup out of the way. I had to look for a while before I found the right cup, and I used the straw, from an old Butler cup as well - I can drink hot or cold at 70, with my helmet on, with no worries…. never had an issue with interference or binding, even at full lock.

I also bought Butler cup holder/camera mount at Spyderfest. Really like it. Keep it full of coffee during AM rides and ice water after that.

Question: What will pass anything on the road but a gas station?

Answer: A Spyder with a Butler mug.

In theory, there is no difference between theory and practice ... in practice, however, that's just a theory.
