    Unhappy Messy back end!

Has anyone corrected the dirty spray that comes up the rear of the Spyder? I believe that the trailer hitch deflects water and road grime, making a nice rooster tail up the back of both the bike and my wife. Any thoughts?

Inspectorgadget made a mud flap extension that might work for you:

If you have a BP trailer hitch you could take off the mud flap and cut it to fit up under the rear fender. bolt it threw the fender right at the ridge on the fender. looks better and we both think it works much better in that spot rather then on the hitch.

That was my very first complaint when I bought my 2010. I did not buy a mud flap and just clean it off when it gets dirty.

I have a friend in Boise who made a mudflap for his RT - me? I avoid riding in the rain, so it's not a problem...
