    Default Spyders everywhere?

A question often asked at the gas stop
are there a lot of these things on the road?

Any educated guesses as to the number of Spyders on the road?

I know there are at least 500 headed to Cuba...

Are they as popular in Canada as they are here? Seems that they would appeal to the snow mobile set (skidoo aye?)

    Just curious

    Default Not in my area

We got our RT about a year ago. Have only spoke to one other rider a year ago. Then spotted one RS going down the road and just last week saw a Red RT going in the opposite direction on the Express Way. Can't wait till the Ontario Ride this June in Niagara Falls. So not many here in Winsdor Ontario.

    Default only saw 1

On my trek from home (WA state) only met and saw 1 other (an RS) headed toward St Joseph as I headed out on final leg to Spyderfest/Cuba!!!!

It would be nice to know some reasonably accurate numbers, like how many Spyders were mfg by BRP each year since the start.

Don't quote me on this, but I read sometime ago (during the DPS recall) that there were 15,000 Spyders sold worldwide.

It's a safe guess (maybe I'm wrong), there are between 17-20 thousand by now...

Since BRP is privately held they don't have to make sales or production figures public..
    Frustrating; aint it?

I know there are a ton of them in Quebec ( Home of BRP ) and starting to see more around my neck of the woods still way more popular south of the boarder .I think the price up here scares the heck out of people as we pay about 3-4 grand more plus 13 % tax .

MAN you need to move to Missouri!!! The winters aren't REAL bad and the taxes are A LOT less!!! Besides you'd be closer to Cuba!!! We could put you to work helping with Spyderfest!!!
