Messerschmidts
When I was stationed in Germany in the early 60s there were a lot of those around. They even had clubs and you could see strings of them buzzing around the country usually on weekends. Of course, GIs were forbidden to own them, too dangerous!

Mess & Isetta
A friend of mine had the Mess and I had a 1952 BMW Isetta... we used to give the kids rides through the softball field at our swim club! (In the late 60's)
