Well the way you take curves it's no surprise LMAO

Had a cool ride today they had a motorcycle escort to bring The Wall into Charlotte, must have been close to 1,000 bikes riding the escort, not bad for a weekday. Pretty sad that they finally give the Nam vets a welcome home this many years after the war.

For anyone interested in seeing some pics of it, friend "ken thierfelder" on Facebook and the pics are in an album on my page. I was the only RS, and there were two RT's there. They set it up so the Patriot Riders rode first, then The Wall, then trikes, and then the rest of the bikes, closed down a weigh station so we could stage there, even shut down the interstate for a while to let us all out unmolested. Could have used more Spyders there though LOL

Hey Duck if you or blue are looking for a ride try getting into some riding groups on meetup.com, that's how I joined this, plus a ride last weekend, and if the weather cooperates, we will ride south for a longish one day ride into SC to see a restored plantation down there. Looks to be fun, but we need more Spyders

I wish I had known about the memorial ride; I would have tried to join...heck, I still have vacation days from last year that I haven't used yet! You should join the PG, too; I think you would enjoy being a part of that.

Friends of ours rode in the escort. Chief was riding his brand new Victory Crosscountry Tour. I thought about going, but I have my reasons for not.

I am hosting Lunch at Quaker Steak and lube that Saturday... definitely. Will post for a head count soon.

As an added bonus... I think I will have my Wife and Leah show up for lunch. Haven't run that by her yet, but probably a possibility.

    Dan,

I hope to be there on Saturday.... got to work some things out first. Unfortunately I was diognosed with Prostrate Cancer and will be going under the knife on the 16th, so this may be my last ride for awhile. But as the Terminator says.... I WILL BE BACK !

2Gunns, all the best to you. You will be in our prayers. As for the ride, not going to be able to make it. We're having a charity ride for Special Olympics on Saturday. Since our daughter is a former Special Olympian and Wayne County Athlete of the year, I better be there.

Well I'll be there. I can't find the post that SpyderDuck told me about, but found this one, I know she said 11:30 and I will probably ride there with her if she gets her mirror extensions fixed by then. I had a mission with Patriot Guard Riders today, escorting the latest truck that Freightliner makes every year to honor the vets and POW/MIA's and it was a beauty, and the last stop on our tour was Concord Mall where they were set up for the Spyder demos, so I know where it is, at least. Hope to see many of you tomorrow for lunch.
