LOST KEY
Hello all, I lost all the keys of my 2008 spyder.... is anyone know how to get a new key? thanks

Uh Oh...
I believe the manual advises that if both keys are lost, you will need to replace keys, rear lock barrel, electronics module and ignotion key barrel. Sounds costly.

I believe you are right. I believe I was told on my 08 GS/RS that it woulds cost close to a grand to do all that. I bought extra keys ( 2 )ansd had them cut, "budished". One in a very safe place, only to usesd in a emergency and the get a new one.
I did the same with my new RT. Cheap insurance in my opinion. Good luck with finding them.

I think 1,000 is high. I had my locks replaced (ignition, rear trunk and trailer) it was 150.00 for locks and another 150.00 labor.

Usually there is a little tag that comes with the keys, If you have them your dealer can make a new set .
Sometimes times but not always the dealer will write the number in the manual that came with the Spyder.
