    Default My license plate is....

Not too original, but I LOVE it. Only plate like it in Missouri at the moment.... It's SPYDR.

We're limited to 5 letters/numbers. Was thinking about changing it to LUCKY (see my username...hehe), but right now I'm keeping it as it is.

On the wifes RT-S it is DSPYNNE which is The Spider in German with a Y subed for I

On my RS-S, which is the Copper "alloy orange" it is 1BADPNI for One Bad Penny. Could be me or the bike, not sure on that one.

If it is like Michigan, the bike plates are more restricted.

I just ordered my custom plate. It's $35.00 initial fee and $18.75 every year after, (not counting registration fee) here in NY.

You only can have 6 digits, and most of the Spyder variations are already gone. This is what I got.

Other NY plates that are still available are
    spyd3r
    spytr
    cool 3
    hot 3

Bob, I spent along time entering different combos until coming up with that list. The one you have was our second choice. I also thought 3whels was cool as well but a little tougher to figure out.

Thanks for doing the legwork! I think that I looked this one up back in 2010, but didn't pull the trigger at the time...

Bob: That makes the even more personal. PS. I like the color on the NY plates--almost the same as here in AK for the main version. The person buying AK plates has about 5 different plate designs they can choose from.

We made up our plates based on how riding makes us feel. Our Harley has "VALYM" and our Spyder has "PROZK". We get lots of thumbs up and a few laughs.
