    Default Transmission Warning

Has anyone had an issue with the engine light coming on during a ride and a digital message on the odometer advising you to check your transmission? I have had my bike (Canam Spyder RS-S) 1 month and this has happened to me twice, but the light goes out and the message stops after I engage the transmission into reverse. Any suggestions?

Sometimes you can get this message at higher speeds if you thumb up the SE5 shifter when you are rocking out to tunes and not paying attention. Not that I have done it, just saying

So obviously I have done it

I got my Spyder back today, they gave me an explanation that I may have shifted gears too soon. The problem with that theory is, stop for fuel Monday morning and started the motor and that is when the warning light came on so the shifting theory is out the window with that. Don't know what may be going on with it but I hope that it is not a serious problem
