Spyders in the Redwoods 2012

Events, Events, and more Spyder Events!! We (my husband and I) have so many Spyder events to attend this year that it has our heads spinning. We will be at SpyderFest, the BRP Owner's Event, and Spyders in the Redwoods this year! Whew!! We can't hardly wait.

Anyway, I have had several people contact me regarding Spyders in the Redwoods 2012. So I thought I would go ahead and put it up here to clear up any questions that you might have.

Yes, we will be having Spyders in the Redwoods again this year. The dates were announced late last year and those dates will be August 6 - 9th. We have expanded the event by one day since about the only complaint we had was that the event wasn't nearly long enough to explore the area, and we agree!!

Some have already made reservations and have asked about the host hotel for this year. The host hotel will be the same as last year - Red Lion Inn Eureka.

We are meeting in a few weeks to start the planning stages of this year's event and should have more details in the weeks to follow. Registration should be available by no later than April 1st.

We are looking forward to Spyders in the Redwoods.....we will be arriving on the 6th...but our departure will be on the 9th...we have a family wedding in Port Ludlow, WA....need to make reservations....but excited to meet everyone.....

Well I certainly hope so. Maybe this year you'll show up on your Spyder and not in a Hyundai.

We are hoping to make all three events this year...Spyderfest, Owner's Event and Spyders in the Redwoods...and a few other things to boot.

Erags is hoping to expand on last year's ten week trip...how long can we be gone?...or better yet, how long can we be in a 37 ft RV before we're driving each other crazy!

Bet it's longer than Holli could take Arntufun!

Made my hotel reservations this evening. This will be only our second long trip since getting our RT last summer (we did an around-the-Olympics trip last fall). We're coming down from the Seattle area. Looking forward to meeting everyone!

We have solidified our agreement with our host hotel the RED LION INN EUREKA. Rooms are available starting at $100 per night which includes tax and the breakfast buffet. Just call the hotel directly to make your reservations and indicate that you are with the SPYDERS IN THE REDWOODS group. They can be reached at (707) 445-0844. If you have already made reservations, just give them a call and get your reservation updated to the group rate.

I was also notified that the rooms have been renovated since last year and include amenities such as a fridge, flat screen TV, etc. Also, for those traveling with their furry friends, the Red Lion is PET FRIENDLY!!
