    Default Possum Pusher installed today

That's not what SpyderPops calls it's but that's what I call it.

I finally had some time to get this mounted and like those have said it looks like it was suppose to be there. I only have about 1600 miles on this RT and I already show some roadrash on the bottom side that I didn't know I had. I think this will save my bacon on those low speedbumps and those little critters that tend to pop up out of nowhere

    Roadrash before the install

    Looks naked without it now

Possum Pusher certainly should be the official name in Tennessee

Did you install in place or did you remove the trunk?

    Thanks

Put mine on a few days ago. Now if I had a plow up front I could ride.

There are four indexing holes that you use to drill the front holes. You do have to drill the front holes.

There's always a way! Are your led's on the stock skid plate or just on the frame?

Lamont had me with "Possum Pusher", it totally makes sense (but will it hold up to armadillos?). Where will this end? Roo Bars, Raccoon Racks (oh, no, Bob is getting that from Inspector Gadget).

    Two questions before I drill...

Is there a specific drill type and technique that should be used to drill the front holes into the Spyder body? I don't want it to split or something.

Secondly... can the skid-plate be polished? Mine isn't as clean or smooth of a look as I might have expected due to scuff-marks and things that were on it when I received it. These marks will show when I put it on. (Even on the top-side which is the side that will show around the front edges.)

Thanks for any input on this.

1/4 in drill bit works fine, sharp bit works better. My suggestion, and I would have done it this way if I knew to do it this way, get the thing in place with the back bolts and drill a way up front hole. Then put the clip on and screw it in to keep it in place when doing the other holes, I had a couple that for some reason where not quite right. No ideas about polishing, but if it's bad I'm sure he will replace it fast. This is an easy to do 1 man job, and if you want to bling it up a bit there is a bit of a gap between the bumper and the skid plate that is yearning for some LEDs.
