Since I have your black-out heat shield and have removed the piece of plastic under the radiator, does this effect the removal of hot air if I install this on the RTL?

BumpSkid TM
Ultimate protection for your Spyder RT Roadster!
Dual purpose, functions as a bumper and skid plate with the look of a stylish spoiler.
Your worries are over, no more expensive paint damage.
No more dangerous evasive moves to miss roadkill or tire treads and if a live small critter jumps out in front of you, well you know.
Made from 3/8” black UHMW (ultra high molecular weight) Polyethylene, tough and slick. Replaces that tiny skid plate the lets you tear up your body.
It attaches to the lower flexible area for impact absorption without damaging the body.
Ground clearance is not a problem due to the thin profile. It protects everything from the nose to the suspension.
The coverage eliminates air drag from the open cavity under the nose.
Added down force is created by the spoiler styling.
Very easy to install with all hardware and instructions included.
A bargain at $159.00 + Priority USPS shipping of $19.50 domestic, Canada & Mexico Priority USPS shipping $34.00, All other countries Priority USPS shipping $62.00.
Harvey,
Will you be bringing some of these to Spyderfest? I am a tightwad and I can save the shipping costs!

The BumpSkid has no effect on the cooling or removal of hot air.

Looks nice Harvey, although I don't know how many I can fit in my trailer along with your ramps and heat shields, tools, etc. when you need me to haul them to Lamont's BBQ!

Is drilling required?
Or all those holes already there? I'm not too lazy to crawl under (like clueless :^}), it's just that I'm at work.

It self aligns using the existing 4 holes at the rear under the wings by replacing the plastic rivets with nut clips. Install the BumpSkid using these holes first then the BumpSkid serves as a drill guide for the front holes. Once the holes are drilled, nut clips are installed for the flat head screws. We made the installation as simple and secure as possible.

I know the feeling!! I have to install the riding pegs on wife's and the HMT AND the Zumo 665 harness on my Gray Recluse. I'll just wait until Spyderfest and let Harvey install it for me.

Bump Skid
Well, went down and met up with Harvey (SpyderPops) and got my Bump Skid installed. Really pleased with the look. It looks like it should have been there from the beginning, really finishes off the look of the front end. Thanks Harvey, keep up the great work. I would post pics, but Harvey already has thanks to Reggie and I would just be duplicating what he had already posted (I have the LTD as well).
If you are sitting on the fence on this, well go ahead and jump off and order one. It is well made and looks and feels like it will take a beating and then some. No more worries about hitting those pesky critters crossing your path.
