    Default Well you dont see this every day..

    Owning a towing company, we haul in some pretty interesting things sometimes. Today I took a call from a property manager we work with to remove an abandoned car. Apparently the tenants moved out several weeks ago and left this car parked in the driveway and never came back for it. Lo and behold when I arrive expecting some broken down Hyundai or something similar, I instead find a Lincoln. A 1975, Pink, Pro-Street, tubbed out Towncar no less. WTF? After a cursory inspection it of course has been sitting for awhile and is showing its age, but it had a glovebox full of receipts for tons of work including a bored and stroked out 479 c.i. engine, narrowed 9'' rear end with 20' wide Mickey Thopsons tucked under it.

    It never ceases to amaze me the things people do... in any event if I were a betting man I suspect this one will end up going unclaimed. So in 30 days or so when we get the title for it, if anyone wants a deal on a pink hot rod lincoln drop me a line!

    I love those older cars. I always wanted to have a Lincoln or a Caddy, but could not justify the additional cost. Then they messed up the Lincoln (IMHO) so now I don't even want one. The Caddy is still out there though. I was thinking of one more really nice car that will have to last me forever--but am still on hold at this time.
