    Default 2012 RT LTD

Hey Lamont, I believe you are going to enjoy your new and the color. I have the 2011 RT LTD and the only difference I noticed from your walk around, it that on the cluster control panel by the glove box is that there appears to be a 12v outlet. Is it a 12v outlet? Can't wait to see your mods.

No extra 12 volt outlet. It has orange lighting and chrome wheels but that's about all you can see different on the 2012.

Does not look like they upgraded the luggage from what was available in 2010. I have the complete set. Was not impressed with the luggage based on what it cost for the whole set. It does work well though, and I used it on our trip to Whitehorse/Skagway.

Hi Lamonster! Congrats on your new Spyder.

I believe you also get a little bit more chrome than the 2011 LTD. Muffler tip, heat shield. I thought you also got the upper and lower wind deflectors but I didn't see them on your video. I'm glad in a way that they did not change it that much from the 2011. It sort of makes my 2011 look new for longer. I guess I'm being selfish here. White is the classiest colour for sure! Enjoy!!!

    OOPSSSS!

I forgot to mention. Now I know for sure that you are a classy fellow Lamonster. Simply because you did not take the brown one with the tan seat. (Or did you have a choice?) I'm not too sure about that brown one, Hummm!
I took a second look and I guess the upper and lower wind deflectors don't come chromed automatically on the 2012. As far as the wheels go, they seem to be the same as my 2011. Unless the back wheel is now chromed?

PS I think it would be fun to have a poll to see people's feelings between the white LTD and the brown one with the tan seat. (I just don't know how to start one)

I kinda like the brown/bronze LTD, but the first thing I would do is put a sweet looking tooled leather seat on there. Now that would look nice!

Thanks for the video tour. Looks like my 2011. Not much changed. Just waiting for my Utopia backrest to arrive. Love the LTD seat but just needs a little more support. Enjoy.

Where will you put the antenna for the satellite radio and can you show how you run the antenna cable to the 665 unit

    Default highway pegs

I watched you video on your design of highway pegs and liked the concept. Vibration on mine are sometime unbearable . I thought of using something like the Harley floating board, but I like our idea. Where can I purchase the mounting bracket like yours?

    Thanks

    Hey LaMonster,

After riding the new RT, what are your impressions of the CB package?? Does it perform to your satisfaction?? Still having noise issues with the 2011.

Sorry but I have yet to use the CB and pretty much never did on my old one. I use it to listen to truckers and that's about it.
