Default Your 2011 RT too hot?

We had a bud. goes by Nomad has a new 11 PE. He had many problem that have been worked out but still c/o about the heat on his right foot. He is running out of Spy pops mods but still has heat over his foot.

He had it over they other day and we found that the opening near the bottom on the right side that the heat was coming from could be closed very easy by sliding a very thin piece of bendable lexan up from the bottom into the opening and RTV applied on the inside to hold it in place. You cant tell in is clear as it is black down there. so far the heat has been reduced greatly and the running temp is not affected.

His wife c/o of heat on the back of her leg on the right side. due to the CAT just under the bag? We packed fire insulting packing under the metal plate that cover this area and that seems to have added in reducing the temp. Booth very easy and cheap fixes.

though we would pass it on

Definitely remove that splash guard on the bottom right side! I'm using the Spyderpops heat shields for the CAT heat and right side opening. I also put on the Fan Can. I still get a little heat on the back of right leg, but it's more bearable than the heat was on the right foot! Amazing what wearing jeans can do to prevent that!
